Every community has a heartbeat. It’s our jokes, our laughter, our music, the meals we share, and the way we show up for each other.
Right now, we are in a space and time where we’re moving through life in our own lanes. We feel like we’re connected, but we’re not truly together as a community. We created the Culture in Motion: Community Engagement Summit to change that.
The Culture in Motion Summit isn’t just a space to talk about our differences. It is a place to celebrate them; to let them inspire us and teach us about what being in community truly looks like. It brings us together and brings us closer. The Culture in Motion Summit isn’t just another conference or gathering. It is an experience for every one of us to share and share together.
Regardless of who you are or where you come from, it is a space for all of us to be at the same table, in the same space, on the same day, at the same time. It is a space where we can share our stories, ideas, and solutions, and remind us that we are stronger together. Especially in times right now, we need to move forward as one – because culture isn’t a statistic or a mark in a box. Culture grows, shifts, and adapts. Imagine what we can do if our culture became a culture of community where we stand and stay together as Pierce County. That’s what we strive for.
The Culture in Motion Summit is about action. It’s about building real relationships and the opportunities for us to move forward together, work together, and serve in our community together. It’s about leaving with a renewed sense of having one band and one sound, where we can see what the possibilities are when we truly come together. We’re not just exchanging business cards and networking. We’re exchanging visions. What would it look like for us to cast a wider net? How does that ripple effect change the trajectory of our communities and Pierce County as a whole?
We want to hear from you. We want you to bring your stories and your ideas. Bring you – the whole you. Whether you’re a leader, a dreamer, a builder, or someone looking for community to be a part of something, the Culture in Motion Summit is for you. This is a moment, but it won’t be the last moment – because as we move forward, we will move forward together.
